FYI 9.2.1.8 Permission Issue & Fix

Overnight, we suffered a 16 hour site blackout. All of my FreeNAS servers properly shut down on UPS run time as programmed. However, when AC power was restored and the systems rebooted, they did so before the DHCP servcer was up so did not get the proper IP address. Since they are headless, I did a hard power cycle & ran scrub, which returned no errors. However, all could be read but none could be written to from Windows 7 guest clients, even though the volume owner & permissions appeared unchanged in the GUI. In the GUI, I changed the permissions on the volumn to Unix &, when the change was successful, changed them back to Windows recursive. Voila, create/write access recovered.
