Hi,
At work we are looking into the best solution for network storage.
I have hasd a quick play with freenas and i quite like what i see but im also wondering how they compare to prebuilt nas boxes such as the terstations.
The main features that we are looking for are:
Active Directory integration
Being able to have multiple share with different permissions to OU's in our AD.
Hot Swappable Hard drives that we can get data replicated onto a new disk if we had to replace one,
High transfer speeds.
Does FreeNas support this? how about Nas boxes that you buy in store?
