I want to install FreeNAS as a VM on Proxmox,
I've assigned the VM 4 GB of memory and 2 CPU Cores, but the Installation process on FreeNAS can't be started and it hangs at it begin, like the picture I've uploaded in link below.

Is there any hardware requirement which can cause this situation?
Any help would be much appreciated.

That is a NAS4Free photo. You might be in the wrong forum.

Does your VM product support FreeBSD? You might want to try to load FreeBSD 8.x to see if it runs.

In Proxmox which is based on Qemu, there's no option for FreeBSD specifically, there's many for Windows and Linux but no one for FreeBSD, so I've chosen the other OS type for my VM but no luck !

Did you solve the problem?
I am stuck at the boot screen too. (64 Bit Edition)

Then i tried the 32Bit Edition.
I was able to boot and install freeNAS but i cannot do anything on the webinterface.
I alway get the errror "An error occured" when i want to save anything.

Same behavior with NAS4free.

So you dont get the "An error occured" message?
Is there any log where i can get more information about that message?

I will reinstall freeNAS and try again. Which version do you use?

No I got no error in 32 bit version, and I'm using the latest version of FreeNAS
Sorry I don't know about the log, cause I'm not expert in using FreeNAS
