Hi, I installed freenas on a HP server, 2 disks are raid1 for boot pool, 10 other disks with 10 raid 0, and make a pool, with no dedup, and lz4 compression. Freenas server with 10g uplink to switch, and another server with Windows 2016, and 1g link to same switch.
I tried to make smb share and iscsi share in the windows server, but both file copy are too slow.
With smb, I can see the share in windows, make new dir, but when copy only got 355kb/s in speed, and after some seconds, got an error, failed copy.
With iscsi, still I can make the connection to freenas, but when I tried to format the lun in windows storage manager, got an error, and formart failed.
I tried dd in the shell, like this, seems the disk speed is ok?
So, please help, how can I find the problem is ? Thanks.
