I am trying to install Freebas 11.3_u5 on th efollowing hardware:-
Motherboard :- ASUS Z10PE-D16 WS
CPU :- Dual Xeon E5-2630V4, 2.2 GHz, 25 MB Cache
RAM :- 4 * 16GB PC4-2400 CL17 288 Pin RDIMM
Hard Drives :- 7 * Western Digital 4TB 5400RPM 3.5" SATA 6GN/s (WD40EFAX) Red Series
OS :- Target on Sandisk Ultra USB3.0 16GB
Network & Video :- Onboard
The above setup passes memory tests (Windows, Clonezilla, etc), and can boot form a number of "Live" Distros.
My Problem:-
Install of Freenas 11.3-u5 proceeds to check & discover the system hardware, gets just passed the Keyboard discovery, and then Reboots.
I have also tried previous versions of Freenas installers, with the same result, at the same point in the install.
Is there an incompatibility with the Motherboard ??
I have two other Freenas 11.3 installs working, and this was to be an upgrade and combining of the two existing systems.
