Hello everyone,

I have a strange behaviour in the managements of users:
when I try to associate a user to more than 3 groups, the GUI accepts, but the system doesn't.

I mean, my user "test" can be associated to groups "1", "2", "3" and "4" in the web GUI (as expected),
but when connected to ssh, whith the command "groups", I get "1 2 3".

Is this a bug, or is there something I did wrong?

Any comment is welcome.

What version exactly are you using?

I could get this to work:

[root@freenas /usr/local/www/freenasUI]# id will
uid=1001(will) gid=65534(nobody) groups=65534(nobody),3(sys),77(audit),80(www),65533(nogroup)

All done from GUI

William, thanks for your answer

I'm using the version FreeNAS-8.0.1-RELEASE-amd64 (8081)

This morning I checked again my configuration, and it appeared that the command group gave me the good result ("1 2 3 4", based on my exemple in the first message)
But I did nothing on my server between my message and this morning.

maybe it just needed a piece of time.

problem solved, so.
bye
