Hi everyone,
after a lot of reading on ZFS and TrueNAS, I've started testing it using a VMWare VM upon Windows 11.
After all the test (really love the implementation) I've decided to migrate my old Windows machine with hardware RAID to TrueNAS (getting out of the stone age era)
I've gone to this setup (test bench for now):
- HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen9 Motherboard
- Intel Xeon E3-1270v5 Quad Core CPU
- HPE 8GB 2Rx8 PC4-2133P-E DDR4 Unbuffered Server-RAM Modul U-DIMM ECC (x4 TOT 32GB)
- Broadcom 9300-16i SATA / SAS HBA Controller IT-Mode 12Gb PCIe x8 LSI
I will go to 2x SSD for boot devices and 9 x 3TB + 4 x 10TB sata hdds
For now the bench has 3 old satas (one on the MB controller and two on the LSI) for testing purpose.
Now my problem, when I try to installa TrueNAS i get the below error and the system stops there.
I have update the original bios (dated 2016) to a newer on (with no luck) and tried to remove the LSI and all the disks but I still get the error.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks a lot!!!
Marco
