Hi,
I have FN8 installed on a USB stick. When a new FreeNAS is available I shut downs the system and performs a full install on the USB stick.
My question is: should I export the volumes and then import them into the new install? Or is it sufficient to just save the config of the old system and then load that config into the new system?
I tried the save/load config and it worked OK without exporting the volumes. But is there any risk with not exporting?
/Peter
