hi everybody,
i have a system with Truenas 13 and a simple 2 disks mirror.
Yesterday i wanted to add a third disk and make a 3 disks mirror, so i plug in the new drive and add it to the pool.
The resilvering process starts immediatly and i left it running for the night.

Today i get a message about the new drive having errors
Code:
root@truenas[~]# zpool status
  pool: boot-pool
 state: ONLINE
status: Some supported and requested features are not enabled on the pool.
The pool can still be used, but some features are unavailable.
action: Enable all features using 'zpool upgrade'. Once this is done,
the pool may no longer be accessible by software that does not support
the features. See zpool-features(7) for details.

I run smart test on new disk (all 3) and this is what i get in the shell but i can't understand if there are any problems.

Occasionally a drive seems to die shortly after a user begins using the drive. Perhaps it is a sign of damage during shipment. I don't know why a new drive would have an 1,497 Reallocated_Sector_Ct. And the Reallocated_Event_Count of 220 matches the ZFS write error count exactly.

One thing recommended here, is to perform disk burn in tests. And if the new drive fails, you know before using it with data. This also helps because many people are able to perform and complete the burn in before a 30 day store return policy expires. Thus, saving the user from a manufacturer warranty replacement. (And the paper work to prove the drive has failed to the manufacturer.)

It is not too late to remove the drive from the 3 way Mirror and perform the burn in testing.
