I'm pretty new to Freenas. I'm using 8.2.0 release in a Esxi test enviroment under Esxi itself. I've configured Freenas with two nic on a separeted vSwitch dedicated to iSCSI storage. The nics have different networks. I can see the published device but only with 2 paths, one for every nic. I'd expected to find four path, like for exmple I've in the same enviroment with an Open-e with two dedicated nics.
Wath's wrong? Should I have to activate multipath?

Thank tyou.

Okay, wait, you have FreeNAS with two NIC's on two separate networks. You're seeing two paths. That would seem correct. What other two paths do you believe should exist, and why? Please be specific and detailed.

You will get four paths if you have two NICs on the FreeNAS side AND two iSCSI vmKernel adapters associated with two different NICs for the iSCSI ESXi traffic (two by two gives four paths).

For the ESXi server also select "Round Robin" in datastore Properties > Manage paths > Path selection or else only one path will be used.
