After GUI update to 8.0.1 RC1 (AMD64) I can't switch dyndns service to ON position
(I use dyndns.org)

Code:
Sep 2 23:20:33 freenas freenas: Starting inadyn.
Sep 2 23:20:33 freenas freenas: /usr/local/bin/inadyn: 1: Syntax error: "(" unexpected
Sep 2 23:20:33 freenas root: /usr/local/etc/rc.d/inadyn: WARNING: failed to start inadyn
Sep 2 23:20:33 freenas freenas: /usr/local/etc/rc.d/inadyn: WARNING: failed to start inadyn
Sep 2 23:20:33 freenas freenas[2400]: Executing: /bin/pgrep inadyn

Not changed the configuration.

Folks: please try 8.0.3-RC3. I've gotten reports that dyndns works again in 8.0.3 (I verified that it was sane with a test domain as well).

This was fluctuating between "working" and "broken" for a while. It should be permanently fixed now in what will be 8.0.3-RELEASE-p1.

I've logged into my DynDns account using the website and updated it manually so it's not them or a password issue. FreeNAS accepts the inputs but won't switch the service on and then leave it on. Dunno what else I can do to help but please give us a shout.

Please create a ticket at support.freenas.org containing that log output. A screenshot of your DDNS screen (with sanitized username/password) would also be helpful to include in the ticket.
