Downgrade freenas thru the web gui???

Hi is it possible to downgrade freenas thru the web gui???

Yes thanks for the reply I have just try a downgrade and can confirm that it does not work

In that case, define "does not work". Also, which version did you start at and which version did you try to upgrade to?

well I started with 9.2.1.6 x64 and I wanted to go back to 9.1.1 x64 so I was trying to downgrade not upgrade

And what happened when you followed the instructions in that link? e.g. when you selected the other F# option from the menu. Or when you reinstalled and restored your config?

You don't downgrade through the WebGUI. That's not an option.

If you started with 9.2.1.6 then you are stuck with 9.2.1.6. Of course, 9.2.1.7 is out because of a Samba vulnerability so *any* 9.2.1 version should be upgraded to 9.2.1.7.

Hi Cyberjock yes that is what I tried and wanted to test and you are right That's not an option :) is 9.2.1.7 out? Thanks for the tip I am going to upgrade ASAP

9.2.1.7 is out.. look at the link at the top of every forum page. I got the version and links put in the forums!
