Hi,
i have 5x3TB Toshiba ABA Series in an HP N40L and i am fighting with the power settings. For some reasons, the disks won't spin down. I have set the timer to a fixed value, and tried it with disabled timer and settings profile 64 on another try.
I started the watch script from the thread linked into the handbook, but the important bits are always on FF.
Has anyone some experience with these disks? Or aren't they idling because i am executing the watch script which is saved in a dataset on these disks?
Currently my NAS is consuming 50 Watts, and i want to minimize the consumption.
