Disable Samba - FreeNAS8

Hello everyone,

Currently running FreeNAS 8.0.1 RC2.

Im only using AFP to share files amongst the Macs in my house.

However, in the finder (both 10.6 & 10.7) "samba shares on freenas" appears, its driving me mad.

No CIFS shares exist, the service is also disabled.

The only two services I'm running are AFP and SSH

Hardware - HP MicroServer, x1 4TB Volume, 4GB RAM, amd64

Any help/suggestions welcome

Hi Tom, this is a bug. It's been reported, and I think fixed, but it didn't make it into 8.01 Release.
