Dataset within a Dataset

Hi

Quick Q:

what advantages are there if I embed datasets within datasets?

What are the disadvantages?

I am asking this because you can only create shares for single datasets and so I am wondering if I should just create folders of the same kind under one dataset and then share that dataset by directory?

i guess no disadvantages.

the advantages are that u can set different permissions and snapshot individually

Disadvantages are if you use NFS; but I cannot think of any others.
