Dataset seemingly missing from pool after import following failed USB boot drive

Hi,

My boot drive died, and after a fresh install, I used the GUI to import my pool.

I'm having trouble accessing my data. My pool is showing the correct amount of free space. I can see the dataset I want to create a Windows share for in the SMB share path browser, but when I look in pools, the dataset does not show, and therefore I am unable to set the permissions I need to access the share. Am I missing something here?

Were you able to resolve this? If not, which version of FreeNAS did you install? Was that the same version that was running before the boot drive died?
