Any idea if this can be done.

I want to use SyncThing for something but I don't want it to endlessly sync all the time.
There's some "Sync-GTK" plugin or something - I could also consider.

Can I just stop and start (without potential data damage) with FreeNAS - a jail or plugin?

Can't u add a script to tasks where us stop/start jails with the warden command ?
I'm pretty sure that restarting syncthing jails won't do much damage.

You could start/stop the jail with a warden command, but I don't know that syntax. But you could always do jexec jailname service servicename start/stop.

Does anyone know how I can schedule it? Don’t mind if it is messy
