How are you creating it from the GUI? Are you making a new dataset?

If all you want is a simple folder, you can just create it from your client

some info about your configuration would be beneficial.

No it seems like i cant make any new dataset - no available space to create. i want to grant different user access to different folder in the CIFS share.
Current CIFS share, inside 'incoming' folder, i have about 10 folders. I need to grant different group of users to access different folder.
Test /mnt/volume01/cifs_share/Test

incoming /mnt/volume01/cifs_share/incoming

releases /mnt/volume01/cifs_share/releases

How do I go about doing tat? Thanks.

No space to create datasets?

Again. What is your configuration?

If you have no space for dataset then you don't have any free space at all.

When i create new dataset, it shows me
  • cannot create 'volume01/test': out of space
My volume config
