Hello,

while trying to install the plex mediaserver plugin I accidently deleted the jail templates. I reinstalled the templates but when trying to install the plex plugin I get:

Mar 14 17:13:00 freenas manage.py: [middleware.exceptions:38] [MiddlewareError: Unable to find template!]

I fear I used the wrong names for the jail templates. Can anyone give the correct names for the

and

templates?

many thanks in advance,
Torsten

You went into the CLI and delete the template didn't you? If this is true then you also need to remove the mount point where the template is. What is the output of zfs list.

Hello Sweet, thanks for the reply. I didn't usw CLI to delete the template, I used the GUI.

*You* don't use the incorrect template name. The problem is you deleted the template after the system created it. Since it wasn't deleted properly (hint: You actually have to do it from the CLI using warden) you're in this crappy situation where warden expects a template where non exists.

I'm pretty sure you can't just extract the template back where the template was and expect it to work. You're probably going to have to do some warden crap from the CLI to recover from this, but that's beyond what I'm going to try to work with you on in the forum. Doing stuff from the CLI with warden can end very badly if the person playing with warden can't identify, fully, the problem and proper solution.

I did the same thing and deleted the template. If you just record all your other settings (I wrote them down) and do a factory reset. Then just re-enter your settings and you are good to go.
