dear, everyone,

I have a question I think is complicated...

so free nas has 2 disks raid 1 15k sas 300GB and 1x 1tb sata

everyday I make a backup of 200gb to the sas drives meaning I can only save 1 back up.

the sata drive is to slow and back up to there takes 9hours instead of 4 to the sas I tried it.

I want to make a backup to the sas and then I want free nas to take the data from the sas and put it on the sata, and make the sas empty for the new backup.

is this possible?

If you have a schedule you could write a bash script to do what you want. :P

It's just a matter of you learning enough bash scripting or Googling to get one working.
