So I set up my permissions they way I want them to, works fine when I try it on the server with the different accounts. Alle accounts that should, can read and write to files in the directories.
ACL on the datasets is UNIX and the share have "inherit permissions" checked
ls -l gives me the following output :
Thats how I want it, read write access for the owner and the admin group.
When I try to access the Fotos folder via cifs share on which I used my credentials for a user that is part of the admin group, I get my problem. Somehow Windows only shows/gets read and execute permissions on the files.
I don't really get why the write permissions disappears on the share(windows doesn't see it) but not on the files on the server.
The owner has write access, that works fine.
