This is something that has been bothering my OCD a little bit.
On my smart email reports I have a drive that kicked out a bunch of UDMA CRC errors about a year ago.
It wasn't the drive itself, the sata cable retention clip was broken and the sata cable wasn't connected.
Anyway, the drive is fine and passes smart tests and hasn't had any issue since swapping out the cable.
Everytime I receive this report for that drive it has lines and lines of details about the errors that happened thousands of hours ago.
Just wondered if I can clear out the errors since they have been addressed? Or are hey just going to be reported forever now?
