Broadcom SAS 9201-16i - Will it work? Required Steps?

Hello,

currently I'm having a Broadcom SAS 9201-16i and would like to use it with TrueNAS SCALE.
Will this HBA be compatible or are there any known issues?
Is there any step by step instruction on necessary steps to install the IT firmware, if required?

It's fine and it only takes IT firmware (maybe IR too, but certainly not MegaRAID). Do note that people have reported trouble with the old BIOS option ROM, so make sure you're using the UEFI option ROM only (e.g. by disabling all BIOS opROMs in system firmware) or remove the BIOS opROM outright.
