Hello i have a freenas to remote backup for 10 or 15 remote users, i create one principal dataset called FTP, and secondary user1, user2, etc... each dataset user1, etc.. has only permission to this user, and i have an snapshot task in principal dataset and recursive (to snapshot secondary user1, user2, ... too )

I have each user in her dataset with only permission to him, and global snapshot FTP to restore some user1, user2... who needs

Is this the "best practice" to do it???

Now i migrate to another server, and i make a replication task to new server and only replicate dataset primary FTP because is only has snapshot, what would be the fastest way to replicate all the datasets on the new server ???

Thankyou

You perform a manual snapshot of each dataset, then send the manual snapshots over to the new server.
