I'm trying to find out what is the best Chelsio or Intel 10GBe fcoe card for freenas 9.2.*.*
I looked at the freebsd 9.2-RELEASE Hardware Notes and it seems that all the supported Chelsio and Intel chipset are old chipset no longer in production. I saw some forum thread about X520 based Intel Card that wasn't stable.
I'm looking for performance and stability, any ideas?

Thank you

Solarflare (SFN5192) and Chelsio (S320E-CR) are the 2 we use at $dayjob.

Chelsio calls their 320 cards "legacy" but we can still buy them. I haven't built any new systems in the last 5 months, but the last ones I built used the SolarFlare cards and they work fine.

The cxbge driver supports the Chelsio T4 cards. It appears to be in the FreeBSD 9.0 source. If you want Chelsio and are concerned about the "legacy" moniker, Why not buy one and test it?

I would stay away from the X520 till the issues with the ixbge driver and freebsd are sorted out.
