I agree. Please submit a feature request to the developers. On the forum here, the moderators don't have the ability to alter the API documentation.

I've tried to add a JIRA ticket at https://jira.ixsystems.com but am only getting Only iX Engineers can create Improvement / Feature Ticket Types responses. What would be a good way to contribute and submit a feature request to the devs?

That's odd. Could be something wrong with the permissions of your jira account. Can you file "bug" type tickets? If so, just do that, they'll adjust the type.
