Hi,
I searched on internet how to auto boot/powerOn a freenas system with cron, but I only found a way to shutdown the system.
Is there a way like, synology's dsm, to do that. For exemple shutdown at 22H00 and power on at 8h00?

That would be a function of your BIOS since freenas is only software, it can't be running when the server is off....

I found in the asrock manual how to proceed : You just need to go in advanced configuration and find the Power On By RTC Alarm option and set the hour you want to boot. Thanks for your advice pirategohst

Why would you want to power it down and then power it up constantly? If its power savings your after then so be it, but computers/servers tend to last longer when powered on and left on, rather then the components getting warm/hot then cooling/cold, then getting warm/hot and so on. Warm/hot when on, cool/cold when off obviously.
