When I use the GUI to turn LDAP from Off to On, the GUI becomes unresponsive;
Clicking anywhere generates: "Sorry, an error occurred"
Refreshing or entering the IP generates: "The page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

Found this, restarting django from shell works, but LDAP is still off: http://forums.freenas.org/showthrea...temporarily-quot&p=41763&viewfull=1#post41763

FN: 8.3, just CIFS and AFP services running
LDAP server: Mac OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion)

Turned off CIFS and AFP services, tried again:
- No django crash (better)
- LDAP isn't started
- CIFS has been started?!?

To confirm this behavior turned everything off and tried again, same results.

With just CIFS running (AFP off) tried to turn LDAP on, seems to work as expected:
- No django crash (better)
- LDAP is started
- CIFS is still started

After this AFP can be started without a crash.

There are several threads about AFP & LDAP issues, haven't tested anything yet.
