Anyway to use mega.nz cloud credentials with 2FA

Hello,

Both login to my mega.nz account and syncronize data via a Cloud Sync Tasks works perfectly BUT i need to turn off 2FA into my mega.nz account.

If i don't do it i have an error: couldn't login: Multi-factor authentication required,
But i don't get any prompt for enter my 2FA code.


I have missed something ?

Usually for things like this a service with MFA (google, Microsoft ... ) will provide an option to create an "app password", which is a password unique for the use of your account by that app (and without MFA requirement).

That's probably the option you need. I don't use Mega, so can't tell you if they have it (and from a cursory look at their security docs, it looks like they don't).

Hum i see but unfortunately mega.nz does not seem to offer this possibility.

So in order to use Mega with TrueNAS, you will need to disable MFA.
