Hello all, I am fairly new to Freenas, so bear with me.
Yesterday I replaced the PSU in my NAS with a redundant PSU. I did not remove any drives change anything other than PSU.
When I booted freenas it was showing this error

Code:
The volume BU_10-3 (ZFS) state is DEGRADED: One or more devices could not be opened. Sufficient replicas exist for the pool to continue functioning in a degraded state.

on the case I show that all the drives in that volume are plugged in, I tried using
Code:
 zpool status -x

and recieved this output

Code:
action: Attach the missing device and online it using 'zpool online'.
see: http://illumos.org/msg/ZFS-8000-2Q
scan: none requested
config:

so is the 9177936071986858179 is saying UNAVAILABLE , does this mean the drive is not attach or just that freenas can not see it?

i also tried
Code:
 zpool online BU_10-3 9177936071986858179

It appears that 3 of your drives are missing. I recommend checking all of your cables and possibly reseating drive trays.

Agreed, one of your drives has dropped offline. As @Sakuru said, check your cables and re-seat the drive trays if applicable. If that doesn't bring the missing drive online, try removing it and plugging it into another computer to see if it shows up at all--it may have simply died.

Did you actually copy and paste that output from camcontrol devlist? I ask because you say you have 8 x 1 TB drives and 4 x 2 TB drives, but the output you provided shows 11 identical drives.

Yea I was mistaken thats the other NAS i have , this one is just 1 tb drives 12 of them I reseated the drives and still doesnt show. what doesnt make sense to me about the cables is that these drives are connected with sff8087 cables. so each row has 1 cable for 4 drives that goes to the LSI card. so if its seeing 3/4 drives it cant be the cable right???

I don't know the construction of those cables well enough to say for sure. It seems to me it could be possible, but unlikely. Can you try just plugging the "missing" drive into another computer, to see if it recognizes it at all?

Yup, luckily there is barely any data on there, so I copied it off there to another set of drives . then I am going to test the drives.

OK so I went to ViewDisk within my freenas GUI and checked the serial numbers against the drives. I found the one that it wasnt seeing, reseated it tried to scan again it didnt see the drive. I then removed it from the tray and then tested it in another machine with CrystalDisk info here are the results of the drive

if I try to upgrade the volume it gives me this error

OMOzt1W.png

The 1 disk Freenas is not seeing, I took it out and stuck it in another bay and then freenas was able to see it and the other 3 drives.
At this point I want to delete this volume, and I actually wanted to move all the drives to another row, so I just want to be able to delete this volume.

any suggestions?
