So the question of the day....
I use two drives in Raid 1 for long term data back up. The bulk drive storage is 2 WD Red 3tb that I fill up approximately once a year. I plan on removing the drives once full and loading in 2 new drives in raid 1. I have a desktop internal hard drive dock I would like to use to access the old drives if the need arises. Once machine is Windows 10 and the other OS X. From my googling I can only find threads about accessing ZFS from 2011-2013 and nothing current. Is there a current preferred method to access the drives without putting them back into my FreeNas server?
