Can you elaborate on what you mean when you say "swap partitions don't show up"?

The words "show up" is a little vague. ;)

This is normal - when a drive is encrypted, it is "locked" (and encryption is done at the per-drive level) against all access. You have to unlock it before ZFS can see it and the system can swap on it, assuming that it has a swap partition.

So, if I unlock the pool, the system should start using it? is this what your saying? Because that's not what I see. Do I have to enable swap manually? Freenas never uses it again. It stays like that.
No, it should start swapping once the drives are unlocked. Sounds like a bug! Please file a bug report. :) Thanks.
