Hi,

I've just had 2 of 4 WD Red 3TB Drives kicked out after powering up a Freenas mini.

There were CAM Timeout messages in the log, and then the devices /dev/ada0 and /dev/ada1 vanished, and the zpool
subsequently degraded.

I'm thinking that to recover from this, I might try physically removing one of the drives and then sticking it back in.

Any other suggestions as to what to try?
Is it inadvisable to power down this system ever?

I've pasted some logs : http://pastebin.com/ZhAYhfLk

I powered down with the power button, ACPI shutdown seemed to work.

Go to ixsystems.com and put in a ticket. Your motherboard is probably bad.

Done. Yeah I'm hoping it might be a connector knocked out, I'm not sure if these use some sort of port expander to plug two drives into one motherboard socket.
