smartd tells me I have 1 currently unreadable (pending) sector.

It's on a single drive (/dev/ada1). After reading some posts on this forum, it was suggested I do a long self test to see where the error was. I ran the long self test and it completed without error, but this pending sector is still there.

How can I identify it? Is this a problem?

Suggestions on how I should proceed?

Thanks,

If there are no other signs of failure, you can just keep the disk running. With increasing age, it's normal for HDDs to reallocate sectors.
But it also might be a sign for a drive slowly dying. I suggest that you keep an eye on the disk (SMART attributes/errors, ZFS scrubs) and exchange it if it gets worse - especially if the pending and offline sectors counts increase a lot.
