SOLVED “The web interface could not be accessed” on MBD-X11SSH-LN4F build (no problems in CORE)

I built a system around a MBD-X11SSH-LN4F that I used on CORE for a couple of years. I want to take advantage of some SCALE apps so I installed it, but when I get to the menu screen it says:

“The web interface could not be accessed”.
“Please check network configuration”

I have both the server and my PC plugged into the same TL-SG105E switch. I was going to try assigning an IP, but the process does not appear to be as straightforward as CORE.

Well, that there's nothing in the console menu talking about static IP addresses, and you need to know that "Aliases" is where you'd enter that...
