Where can I get an .iso for the version of FreeNAS we don't talk about?

My .iso image for Corral appears to be corrupt... serves me right for not storing in on my FreeNAS server but hey ho.

I kept it because I'm one of those odd people who install old and unusual operating systems for the fun of it but unfortunately, having finally gotten around to trying to install it one bare metal, as I said, it appears my .iso is corrupt as it won't install on VirtualBox or on any of the hardware I've got laying around.

As the Corral Branch is no longer available from http://download.freenas.org/, I was hoping someone could provide me with either a checksum, so I can figure out whether I have a corrupt .iso, or perhaps a known good install .iso for Corral?

@CompuGlobalHyperMegaNet, Arrrg, (holding up 2 fingers in a cross shape), you must not name the un-namable!

You have used the name 3 times, so you have invoked the curse of the release that is not to be named. To lift the curse, you have to run around your home, backwards, in a counter-clockwise direction, at noon.

Let us know if you survive the curse. I mean the lifting of the curse.

(Obviously I am not serious. But, I won't invoke that name myself. Mostly because I kept seeing it as the sea creature that is spelled with one "r".)

If you enjoyed my humor, thank me, (I want another dozen thanks!).

Here's your thanks and a (You) to go with it.

@CompuGlobalHyperMegaNet I wish you the best of luck, but every horror movie I've seen has told me that deliberately summoning dark spirits always ends poorly, no matter how confident you are in your ability to control them. ;)

Just hop in the Wayback Machine!

Unfortunately it doesn't look like they have the ISOs archived.

You could always try building from source...

I didn't think to try building it from source! I've never built a full OS from source before so I'd love to give it a go.

Thanks for the suggestion fracai.

I don't think it worked. I ran around the house as instructed but my dogs went nuts and started barking at me... they can clearly tell that, despite look just fine (in fact, looking pretty darn good), I am posessed by buggy middleware.

Don't worry, as long as I don't transfer data to it after midnight, I'm sure I'll be fine.

Besides what's the worst that can happen to a beautiful, conceited, promiscuous, teenage cheerleader like me? If I get into trouble in the abandoned mental hospital (which is where I have my server setup), I'm sure my handsome, albeit dumb, quarterback boyfriend will save me. He's oh so brave when he's beating up the nerds at school. Why, he didn't even flinch when that one girl nerd (Carrol or something), who he pretended to want to take to the prom but then tricked into kissing the school mascot pig, swore revenge on him and the rest of the football team before mysteriously disappearing a year ago to the day.

On a side note.... Ladies and Gentleman, I give you one of my all time favourite scenes froma horror movie. Cripin Glover dancing - https://youtu.be/QEMynL5iVOA?t=18

I'm not sure FreeNAS in any variety has reproducible builds, so hashes that don't match are likely expected.
