Poking around Jira, (and I am no expert), I see issues related to TrueNAS, ZFS & Linux. So, my conclusion is that this may be a Linux kernel version of TrueNAS.

we’re going to be hard at work in 2020 to make our 12.0 code portable across multiple OS platforms
And with iX being active in the rebasing of current ZFS on FreeBSD from the Illumos base to the ZoL base ...


I mean, I have no idea and certainly wouldn't want to idly speculate.

@Kris Moore Is there a time schedule for 11.3? I think I saw the 20th or something like that listed online somewhere.
