Hello,
I installed TrueNAS on a VMWare machine set up the Pool, dataset, ACL and a SMB share and am having issues connecting to it from my Windows 10 host.
I have tried to connect to it with a Win 10 VM and am able to connect.
I receive the following message on the host machine:
\\TRUENAS is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
A device attached to the system is not functioning.
Most of the time the Windows security - Enter network credentials box shows up. I enter the username and password I created on the TrueNAS VM and receive The user name or password is incorrect. The username and password is the same as my Win 10 account.
I am not sure why I can connect on the Win 10 VM machine and not the Win 10 Host machine.
