Hello,
I just upgraded my FreeNAS 8.0.4 to 8.3.0. Everything went fine and my system is up and running.
Until now I have one issue:
I am unable to login to my FreeNAS FTP server without SSL/TLS.
When activating SSL/TLS on my FreeNAS box and connecting to ftps://freenas-box I am able to connect but it is terrible slow --> ~ 800kB/s over Gb/s-Ethernet. (With 8.0.4 I had ~98MB/s) Even directory listing now takes ages.
When activating the checkbox "Enable SSL/TLS" in my FreeNAS config and try to connect without SSL/TLS I receive an error saying that SSL/TLS is required.
With 8.0.4 I was able to connect to my box with or without SSL/TLS - it was optional - even with this checkbox checked.
When I uncheck this "Enable SSL/TLS" checkbox and try to connect to my FreeNAS box via FTP - nothing happens.
And these messages appear in the logs:
How can restore the original FTP functionality and speed?
