Good afternoon!

I am having an issue where I am unable to join my freenas servers because of self signed certs. After removing the the https redirect and re-enabled http, I was able to get a connection to the freenas server. Any thoughts on if the team might be able to implement a way to trust self signed certs?

One a side note, is there a better way to report issues or request improvements? I am really liking what I have found and looking forward to the future of this project!

nvm on the last part, just found the link for the ticket system. Going to leave this thread up in case anyone else is having issues with this.

I had the same issue but to resolve it I imported my root cert to the trusted crt list and everything works. There needs to be a way to click through this error and import root certs through the GUI.

Where do we need to import the root cert for the CA to get it to work on https? We use a wildcard cert from Trustwave for our internal apps like our FreeNAS servers.

And "nevermind" appears to be trend here. I had to add the intermediate cert to the end of the wildcard cert and now everything is happy.

Just a note: With v1.0 of TrueCommand there are some SSL configuration options now available in the administration page which will allow you to tell TC to ignore some/all SSL cert validation warnings. Of course, we recommend you try to fix the certs before you start turning validation procedures off... ;-)
