transcoding /cpu chart

I know that is not the primary use of FN to trans-code video, but since plex and emby are there, why not use them.
i believe most of us make use of them for home setups.
was thinking of building a chart of reference between cpu models and trans-coding capabilities based on real life builds, so if we can collect enough stats to have at the end a reference table for the new builds who want to use FN for media streamer.

what do you think? makes sense to have such such table in the forum?

It would make sense if you would provide a quantifiable means of generating results.
Transcoding, as far as I understand is directly dependent on the final video resolution being played at. It is also dependent on the network speed and general Freenas usage at the time.

I am just not sure if you can provide script that would allow you to quantify it?
