Environmental description:

hardware:
Processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5649 @ 2.53GHz (12 cores)
Memory: 64 GiB (ECC)
Boot: 2 x 16G USB Disk (Kingston)
HD: 7 x 3G (WD Red)
ARC: 120G SSD

software:
FreeNAS: FreeNAS-11.2-U4.1
Plex Media Server Version: 1.15.6.1079

Permission settings:
All media directories and files are: 777

Problem phenomenon:
In the previous version of FreeNAS (before modifying the interface), the PMS is able to perform normal transcoding, and can scrape out media information, such as movie cover, poster, introduction, etc.

However, after the FreeNAS is upgraded to the new version of the interface, the PMS that is included cannot be transcoded normally. Except that the MP4 format video files can be directly displayed on Direct Play, other formats such as Mov, Mkv, rm, rmvb, etc. cannot be played on the webpage. And these formats were previously able to play normally. However, it can be played by Kodi, which is decoded with Kodi, but there is no difference between sharing with Samba. If you play these non-MP4 format video files, Direct Play is impossible, you will enter the transcoding mode, but the transcoding will directly be stuck without any playback action, then the CPU utilization will be very high, and finally PMS will It is suggested that some ffmpeg decoders are missing, but in fact the PMS has been completely installed on FreeNAS and should not be missing.

Previous versions of PMS can also play APE format music normally. Now, with the exception of MP3, other ones will not work.

There is also scraping. The previous version is basically normal. Even if some can't be matched automatically, the matching function can basically handle it. However, the new PMS can't scrape any information, and the matching function can't match any valid. information.

I have reinstalled it many times and can't solve these problems. It's the same phenomenon. The installation of Emby does not have these problems at all. The same files and directories are normally played and transcoded, and the scraping is very smooth.

I want to ask you how to solve these problems.

Thank you!
