I'm looking into getting hardware to build a system for doing experimentation on and doing drive burn in on it.
I don't really care about data integrity on this system (I'll probably only test some pool configurations and burn in drives for my main NAS) so I don't really care about ECC RAM support.
I want it to have a small footprint and I was thinking probably SBC.
Bonus points: preferably I would also use it for PFsense experimentation as well - so this should be taken into account as well.
currently I'm thinking of the following hardware:
