Mods need to do something to police this forum. Bad actors are posting inappropriate spam. Not the Mods fault but i value the sanctity of this venue.

Yes, seriously. I clicked on a link AT WORK in the New Posts forum that had a not obviously spam title and was presented with a browser full of PORN!

an idea - don't know if such a "hack/plugin" exists already for these type forums: If x amount of people (my suggestion would be 10) mark a post as spam, its hidden until moderators interaction to show it again or remove it completely and block the person. Just an idea.

And if users who report posts can include the name of the person who created the thread, admins can make sure that user is banned and their email domain is added to the banned domains list.

Hello Everyone,

The best way for anyone to take action when a SPAM topic or post is found is to immediately bring it to the attention of the moderators by clicking the "Report Post" icon (exclamation mark in triangle) in the lower left corner:

Follow the instructions given after you click it and the pertinent information should be automatically forwarded for action. The moderators should take care of the rest.

Regards,
Al
