slow transfers after 8.3 release upgrade

i was getting about 100MB/sec downloads from FN on 8.2 pr1 with my 3 ethernet LAGG setup and updated to 8.3 release. now transfers are down to 50MB/s.
primarily use afp. didnt change any of the tunables or ctls in between. for ctls, i just have the normal autotune in there.

i ran iperf on it and was getting about 600mb/s (75MB/s), so kindof looks like LAGG is not kicking in to give me the rates i was getting.

any ideas of where to look to fix this?
