Set timezone in zoneminder

Hi All,
Anyone kindly share the steps to set the correct timezone in zoneminder? the documentation explains it in either Ubuntu or Debian. I am on FreeNAS 11.2 so the jail resides in the new iocage system.
I am in Perth Australia by the way.

To clarify, you're not sure of the location of the php.ini? It should be similar to the Ubuntu path, but starting with /usr/local/etc....

Exactly, I wouldn't even know how to access it either. can I just go to the location inside iocage folder in my pool that has the jails? or is some kind of command line like jexec? and when I find it, whats the correct syntax to set the timezone to Perth Australia? I could read the file called localtime inside zoneminder and at the end of some random characters I can see AWST, which stands for Australian Western Strandard Time.

Well, I've found php.ini file and after a crash course of vi editor i was able to set the time zone properly, Now ZM is showing the right time. thanks @dlavigne for your help, you info was key to solve my problem.
