After getting my new Seagate IRONWOLF 2TB drive I started running a smart long test and this is the resulting data I got.

Code:
freenas# smartctl -a /dev/ada3

After looking around on the forum I found this link: http://www.users.on.net/~fzabkar/HDD/Seagate_SER_RRER_HEC.html
Seeing this webpage kinda confused me as to whether I need to replace the drive or not, and how I should interpret the smart data.

Please help me interpret these results and what to do with them.

I am no expert
But I have 6 irnwolf drives and
raw read error rate is not a problem
Entrys
197 current pending sector
198 offline uncorrectable
Are of concern if you have
If the drive has a smart error freenas will tell you

Forgot to mention, if you want to check the actual raw read error rate value you can with:

Code:
smartctl -a -v 1,raw48:54 /dev/ada3

Ideally you get a 0, or at least a very low value.

I tried this and it now shows me 0 in raw read error. Is there a way to also make the seek error rate show correctly?
