Seagate adding to pool takes long time, errors while boot, wrong disk speeds

Hi, friends!

I'm finishing my build of freenas box at home.
Here is my specs:
Dell T310 (Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3470 @ 2.93GHz, 8GB RAM)
Adaptec 3405 (3GB/s for SAS drives in front "bucket")
Dell Perc H200e crossflashed to IT p20 firmware
HP D2700 25x2.5 drives expander with 2 controller cards connected to 2 ports on H200e
1x Hitachi Travelstar 5K160 (as boot drive in SATA0 on MB)
1x Seagate ST1000LM049-2GH172 1TB drive
1x HGST Travelstar Z5K1000 1TB drive
1x PNY 240G SSD
2x SAS 146GB drives
Here is my issue:
1) Drive speeds:

  • 3 Drives in expander - HGST, Seagate, PNY - speeds (smartctl output, HGST SATA 3.0, 6.0 Gb/s (current: 1.5 Gb/s), PNY SATA Version is: SATA 3.0, 6.0 Gb/s (current: 1.5 Gb/s), Seagate SATA Version is: SATA 3.0, 6.0 Gb/s (current: 3.0 Gb/s))
  • 2 Drives in expander - HGST, PNY - speeds (HGST SATA 3.0, 6.0 Gb/s (current: 1.5 Gb/s), PNY SATA Version is: SATA 3.0, 6.0 Gb/s (current: 3.0 Gb/s) was couple reboots I think I saw 3GB on HGST)
Question is - shouldn't they be 6GB all the time since 6G supported by all drives?
2) Drive initialization:
  • 3 drives in expander and zpool created on 2 drives (HGST, Seagate), creating zpool in mirror when Seagate is in list takes to long and through errors in console, booting takes to long since there is lot of "(da0:mps0:0:10:0): Retrying command" errors in console.
  • 2 drives everything perfect except of connection speed of drives.

Reinstalled freenas freeshly. First thing when trying to add pool based on only this drive get a lot of errors:

UPD 2:
I've installed drive into other PC, based on AMD A6 and 8G RAM, nothing special.
If onboard SATA controller is in legacy mode - I get same issue, if in AHCI - no issues at all.
So the question is can I fix something in Dell T310 + H200e perc (crossflashed) to make it work?

- based on debian has no issues, drive is accessible thru T310+H200e, no write issues, successfully wrote 4 files 10-15G each, no issues.
XigmaNAS - BSD based had same issue as freenas. Even worse since it cannot show disks.

UPD 5:
Plain 11.2 FreeBSD has same issues.

So I now believe it is somehow connected to BSD or some drivers in it, not the hardware.

Were you able to resolve this?
Not yet, also posted in FreeBSD forum, but only reply in style - "your cabling is bad or PSU bad". But T310 has 2 PSU, and D2700 have 2PSU, alsoo amd MB which I tested on has it's own. And only freebsd has issues.

Were you able to get anywhere with this...i'm somehow randomly getting this popping up on my system now. Been running the same hardware for 3+ years with no issues. Have a few seagates in my system for 1+yr but in the past week or two I've been getting these kernel panics and it completely freezes, kernel panics and needs a reboot. Very frustrating.
