Hello everyone,

Setup:
Win7 32b OS on x86 PC with samba running on another PC.
The Samba share is mounted to x86 PC and I can read/write to it. No issues.

However, when I launch NASPT1.7.1, Following is the error during Read operation (Write works well).

------------------------------------------
TARGET: Z:\FileCopyFromNAS
TRACE: C:\Program Files\Intel\NASPT\app_traces\FileCopyFromNAS.xml
FS_replay.exe "C:\Program
Files\Intel\NASPT\app_traces\FileCopyFromNAS.xml" "Z:\FileCopyFromNAS"
"C:\Users\root\Documents\NASPT_Tests\Manufacturer\Model\August 17,
2012 6 27 55 PM" -prep
Could Not Find C:\Program Files\Intel\NASPT\nsb*.tmp
PrepDrive failed getting name for temporary file
Error Code: 5 -- Access is denied.
------------------------------------------

I searched online and found I need to run NASPT as admin, so I went to NAS PT -> Properties->Compatibility, and enabled running NASPT as an admin.

But, now when I try to provide "Z:" to NASPT under its "Configuration" tab as the "target", it doesn't show this smb drive (not even when I do "Browse"). I can see/browse local drives but not the smb mounted drive.

I do see different discussions and perhaps it has worked for some folks already - but not sure what is going wrong in my setup.

Could someone please help.

Thanks in advance.

You should first be able see the drive in My computer. If it is listed there, you should be able to see it in NASPT
