Hi all,
very n00b question here, but couldn't find a satisfying answer.
To reach FreeNAS control panel I digit freenas.local in the address bar and without any prior router DNS configuration it just works.
How is this achived? And how can I replicate this for services running in jails like transmission, sonarr, plex and so on?
I have read that you must put up a DNS server in yor LAN but there is must be a simpler way since like I said freenas.local works just out of the box.
Thanks for any pointers and sorry if maybe I'm being stupid lol
